It appeared on the battlefield in 1948, but the concept was developed in the last year of World War II. This weapon has managed to become one of the most versatile weapons of the century due to its robustness, reliability, and simplicity, from the very first moment until today. Designed to incorporate the best aspects of the most renowned weapons of the time, it is still successfully used today without major interventions on its operating system. The manufacturer CYMA successfully integrates the best features of this weapon into airsoft replicas.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica is manufactured by Cyma and the model is CM.028C. The body of the airsoft replica, the grip, the stock, and the handguard are made from quality ABS plastic. The construction of the replica follows the Tokyo Marui model; the front part and the body of the airsoft replica are assembled with 4 screws. This model facilitates access to the inner barrel and the Hop-Up chamber. The metal components include the outer barrel, the connection elements of the airsoft replica, the dust cover, the sights, and the mag-catch button. The handguard is equipped with standard rails that allow the mounting of additional devices such as flashlights, lasers, and other accessories. The stock of the replica is foldable, making it easier to transport, and the rear part is equipped with soft plastic. The front grip is foldable, allowing for grip modification according to needs. The package includes a carrying strap which we do not recommend. The quality of this strap is questionable and may pose a risk to the integrity of the replica.
Interior of the Replica
The Hop-Up adjustment is located inside the ejection port, and this adjustment is linear and precise. The Hop-Up chamber is made of ABS plastic, which should not be a concern, as the casting quality is very good, thus there are no issues with BB feeding. The accuracy and consistency of the airsoft replica are good.
The gearbox is version 3, known for its durability. Of course, it is made of metal, as are the gears. The piston, piston head, and cylinder head are made of polycarbonate. The BB speed is somewhere between 110 and 115 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.
Power Supply
To access the battery compartment, it is necessary to remove the dust cover of the body by pressing the button at the back. The maximum recommended battery is 9.6V, as using a larger battery may risk damaging the replica. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use quality BBs. Reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs is not recommended as it may damage the replica.
