Product Description
Brief History
It appeared on the battlefield in 1948, but the concept's creation began in the last year of World War II. From the very first moment until now, this weapon has managed to become one of the most versatile weapons of the century due to its robustness, reliability, and simplicity. Designed to incorporate the best aspects of the most renowned weapons of the time, it is still successfully used today without major interventions on its operating system. The manufacturer CYMA has managed to integrate the best features of this weapon into airsoft replicas, namely:
Exterior of the Replica
The body of the weapon is made from stamped steel. The assembly of the airsoft replica is similar to that of the real one. Unlike the classic method adopted by Tokyo Marui, where the body consists of two distinct parts joined by four screws, the CYMA body is assembled using pins and press-fit fastening systems. This provides the body with enhanced robustness, supported by the use of quality materials.
The handguard and stock of the airsoft replica are made of wood, while the grip is made of quality ABS plastic.
Interior of the Replica
Although the toy does not come with a factory precision barrel, the Hop-Up chamber is a quality metal one that does not create feeding issues with BBs from the magazine. The Hop-Up adjustment is easy and precise. The accuracy and consistency of the toy are very good when using quality BBs.
The gearbox is version 3, a well-known version recognized for its robustness. The gearbox shell and gears are made of metal, while the bushings are made of steel. The piston, piston head, and cylinder head are made of quality ABS plastic. The motor is a high torque one capable of pulling fairly strong shots, with rate of fire not being its strong point. However, the power of the airsoft replica is an important aspect, which is relatively high, between 125 and 130 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use 0.28g BBs.
Power Supply
The space allocated for the battery is not very large, but it can be fully utilized by using a LiPo battery no larger than 7.4V and 2200mAh. The maximum recommended battery is 9.6V, as using a larger battery risks damaging the toy.
