Product Description
Brief History
AK 74U is based on one of the most recognized platforms in the world. In 1973, the Russian department of tactical and technical requirements requested the creation of a weapon worthy of the modern era. Competent companies in the design and manufacturing of firearms presented weapon models to the Russian department of tactical and technical requirements according to the requested specifications, and after extensive research regarding performance, reliability, and manufacturing and maintenance costs, they chose the design of the renowned weapon designer Kalashnikov. The performance requirements set by the commission could be met using a heavily modified AKS 74 platform.

Exterior of the Replica
Cyma impresses once again with the design and quality of materials used. The body is made of pressed sheet metal and the connecting elements are also metal. The only plastic components are the grip and handguard. The top cover is secured with a hinge, making battery installation much easier. On the left side of the replica, there is a rail for mounting special rails or directly for optical devices specific to AK platforms. The stock folds to the left and locks securely both extended and folded.
Interior of the Replica
Inside the replica, there is a standard version 3 metal gearbox. The upgrade possibilities are very good. The hop-up chamber is adjustable, allowing for significantly improved range. The inner barrel has a length of 290mm, contributing to the good grouping of the replica. The velocity is approximately 120-125 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.
Power Supply
The package includes a 8.4V 1200mAh stick battery. It is recommended to use a battery no larger than 9.6V as a higher voltage may damage the replica.
