Brief History

First introduced to the public in 1991, and a few years later went into production. It is manufactured in America, combining German and American-made parts, which is why the new shape of the P229 was primarily considered for the American audience. The secret of the P229 is the slide machined from a single piece of aluminum, which provides much greater durability to the pistol. However, a disadvantage is its weight, as the aluminum slide is somewhat heavier than the sheet metal version.

Exterior of the Replica

AW Custom P229R is entirely constructed from metal. The grips are made of plastic. At the bottom, the airsoft replica, like the real weapon, is equipped with a 22 mm rail that can support a wide variety of accessories such as flashlights, lasers, and other tactical devices.

The internal components are made of metal, and the hop-up chamber allows for hop-up adjustment adjustment.

Power Supply

The airsoft replica operates with green gas. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the replica is capable of firing the entire magazine with a gas fill, and when empty, it will lock the slide in the rear position.
