Brief History

BT MP9 or Brugger & Thomet Machine Pistol 9mm is a submachine gun developed by the Swiss company Brugger & Thomet in 1992 for use in confined spaces by both non-military personnel and law enforcement. Production began in 2001 after a long period of improvements and testing. The final result is commendable, with most users delighted by its performance as well as its reliability in critical situations. It is equipped with multiple safety systems, including a drop safety.

Exterior of the Replica

KWA does an exceptional job of replicating the BT MP9. To the last detail, our replica resembles this famous weapon. Like the real firearm, the materials used on the exterior are predominantly plastic. The upper part features a standard rail that can accommodate a wide range of advanced sighting accessories. The outer barrel, controls, and fasteners are made of metal. The front of the outer barrel allows for the attachment of the typical MP9 suppressor. Above the grip, there is a safety that also serves as a fire selector. On the left side, there is the magazine release button. The front features a grip for improved handling. The stock of the replica folds to the right. The locking mechanism is activated by a button located under the stock hinge.

Interior of the Replica

The internal mechanism is made of durable, wear-resistant metal. The replica operates on green gas and has an impressive rate of fire. Approximately 50 BBs will be fired in under 2 seconds. The magazine of the replica is made of metal and can store a significant amount of gas, contributing to the replica's autonomy. The velocity generated with regular gas is approximately 100-105 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs.

Power Supply

We recommend using high-quality BBs weighing 0.25g for optimal performance. Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as this may damage the replica. The replica does not operate with CO2. At a temperature of 15'C, the replica can successfully operate its entire load.
