Brief History
The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 Carbine represents the 3rd generation of the well-known Czechoslovak platform VZ.61 Scorpion, which appeared in 1959 with the intention of providing a very compact weapon for personal protection. The weapon was quickly adopted by military forces, used as a secondary weapon primarily by transport operators, pilots, and other similar functions. To step into the 21st century, the model was not left forgotten and was completely redesigned and rethought to offer the firepower necessary for today's needs. It is a compact SMG, very easy to maneuver due to its plastic materials and highly efficient thanks to the design of its internal components.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica is made by ASG or Action Sport Games and closely mimics the real weapon. Like the real weapon, it is made from modern plastic materials, specifically reinforced nylon. Due to its compact size and lightweight, the replica is intended for open space combat. At the front, there is a rail system for mounting tactical accessories, and on the top of the entire replica, there is also a standard rail for mounting optical accessories. The stock length is adjustable, allowing for a proper grip regardless of arm length. The stock itself folds to the right. The fire selector is ambidextrous, as is the mag catch. The bolt catch is located on the left side. For attaching a sling, the two fixed, ambidextrous ears can be used.
Interior of the Replica
Regarding the gearbox of the replica, it is a true spectacle. The housing is made of metal and CNC machined, and it does not resemble any other version available on the market. Before opening the gearbox and entering the interior, we can easily replace the spring by simply removing the stock. As we have recently seen more and more replicas factory-equipped with MOSFETs or electronic control units, ASG has also equipped this replica with an ECU that allows for a very good trigger response, proper gearbox timing management, and even multiple firing mode selection options. The replica is capable of firing bursts of 3 BBs without additional settings, as mode selection is included. Some internal parts such as gears, piston, motor, and others are standard. However, we recommend that before replacing any internal parts, you carefully research their compatibility. The hop-up chamber allows for hop adjustment, and the projectile speed is 130 - 135 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. For optimal performance, we recommend using 0.28g BBs.
Power Supply
The package does not include a battery and battery charger. Upon purchasing the replica, we recommend that you look for a suitable battery and charger. The replica can operate with 8.4-9.6V NiMh or 7.4-11.1V LiPo. It is recommended to use 11.1V 1000-1300mAh batteries in a long compact shape. Do not use low-quality BBs and do not reuse BBs as this may damage the replica.
