Product Description
Presentation
The M870 model manufactured by A&K is based on a globally recognized model, the Remington 870 "Wingmaster", which appeared in 1950 and quickly became popular in America. It is used in many fields; hunting, military, law enforcement, and many others. There are countless versions and adaptations of this platform. The airsoft replica's principle closely mimics that of the real firearm. For each cocking, one BB can be engaged. The required power is generated by compressing an internal spring.
Exterior of the Replica
The presented airsoft replica mimics the M870 Sawed Off model or more precisely the cut version of the M870. It is made of durable metal, and the accessories are made of ABS plastic that closely resembles wood. Its operating principle closely follows that of the real weapon, with one BB being fed for each cocking that can subsequently be fired. Due to its metal construction, the weight of the replica is not negligible. Although it weighs only 2 kg, the small dimensions create the impression that it is quite heavy. This is not a bad thing as it offers an interesting sensation during operation.
Interior of the Replica
The internal mechanisms are made from durable metal and polycarbonate plastic. Considering the resulting speed and the design of the mechanism, the lifespan will be quite long. For each cocking, a single 6mm BB is fired. Using 0.20g BBs, the resulting speed will be 105-110 m/s. The package includes a spare spring that, once installed, will propel BBs at a speed of 125-130 m/s. For optimal performance, 0.25g BBs can be used. The presented airsoft replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up, thus providing a fairly large range. The hop-up adjustment is located at the top of the outer barrel, and one of the two included Allen wrenches will be used for adjustment. Upon delivery, the hop-up adjustment may be set to zero, causing BBs to fall from the barrel, in which case the hop-up adjustment simply needs to be adjusted.
Feeding
The airsoft replica package includes a 38 BB metal magazine. The operation is as simple as can be. The toy does not require electricity, gas, or any other separate power sources. Inside, there is a manually cocked spring, which serves as the energy source needed to propel the BBs. It is recommended to use quality BBs for optimal performance. Reusing airsoft BBs is not recommended as this action can severely damage the replica.
