Brief History

Originally, this vest was designed by Crye Precision to provide the modern soldier with the necessary protection and utility in contemporary warfare. The vest was first observed in 2005 at the Shot Show event but gained recognition a year later in the game "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter" as the main mode of protective equipment.

Description

Our vest is a replica of the armor developed by Crye Precision and broadly succeeds in mimicking the essential features of the real vest. It is composed of 4 distinct parts connected by a series of steel cables. The side parts provide lateral protection. The back section consists of a pocket that is normally meant to hold a ballistic plate and directly connects the side parts to the front part, which is also designed to support a ballistic plate and completes the assembly of the vest.

The vest is made from nylon, with the side sections and shoulders padded with rigid material for protection. For comfort, there are detachable and rearrangeable soft material sections inside that attach with Velcro. For additional protection, the shoulders are secured with straps equipped with elastic and adjustable Velcro. The shoulder straps are not adjustable.

The front of this armor features the ability to mount pockets and accessories with MOLLE attachment due to the MOLLE systems distributed across the entire surface of the vest.

The size of the vest is adjustable to some extent. The front has 2 attachment sizes, small and large, while the back allows for some adjustment but not extensively. Care should be taken regarding the size of the clothing normally worn. It is recommended to fit within sizes close to M (Medium).
