The tracer is used to illuminate phosphorescent BBs, the effect of phosphorescent BBs at night is quite unique. It can resemble the tracers of real firearms. The operating principle is simple. Inside this tracer, there is an electrically powered device equipped with very powerful UV LEDs, which act for just a fraction of a second, exactly as long as the phosphorescent ball needs to glow to the maximum.

The device is small in size with a length of 57 mm and a diameter of 28 mm. The thread is 11 mm CW (clockwise), and included is an adapter with a 14 mm CCW (counterclockwise) thread. The body of the tracer is made of aluminum, resistant to wear, and the cap is made of plastic.

So that the fun doesn't stop when it rains, Acetech has made this device IP64 resistant.

Operation

The operation of this device is extremely simple once understood. For example, it starts by shaking it (motion sensor) and stops automatically after a period of non-use. The advantage of this device is the use of UV light to ignite BBs. The disadvantage of UV light is that it can only correctly ignite green BBs. The built-in battery has a very long autonomy, and charging is done with a micro-USB cable.
