Product Description
NiMH battery, or more precisely Nickel Metal Hybrid, brand 8Fields made up of 8 cells resulting in 9.6V and with a capacity of 3000mAh. This type of battery consists of 3 modules: 2 modules of 3 cells each and 1 module of 2 cells. The unique shape allows installation in tight spaces of AEG replicas designed for the battery.
The quality of the batteries is very good, and the wires and connectors are durable.
WARNING:
- Nickel-Metal-Hybrid (NiMH) batteries can be dangerous.
- The user must take all precautions against: potential fire, bodily injury, and property damage.
- In case of improper use, damage, or manufacturing defect, NiMH batteries can catch fire, produce smoke, and cause poisoning.
- By purchasing this type of battery, the user assumes responsibility for any risks associated with NiMH batteries.
- NiMH batteries are not toys; therefore, they should not be left within reach of children as they can pose a real health hazard.
- NiMH batteries should not be thrown into fire, placed in an oven or microwave as they may explode.
- NiMH batteries contain harmful chemicals.
- Do not attempt to charge mechanically or chemically damaged batteries.
Actions Leading to Battery Damage
- Connecting in series or parallel with another cell or battery even if they appear similar.
- Exceeding maximum and minimum operating voltages.
- A drop or rise in temperature outside the permitted limits.
- Charging current that is too high.
- Using a charger without battery detection.
- Short-circuiting the battery terminals.
- Subjecting the battery to mechanical shocks such as dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or puncturing.
- Contact with liquids.
- Improvising an unsuitable charging setup.
- Using inappropriate, improvised charging cables.
General Information
- NiMH battery packs are made up of cells.
- Each NiMH battery has a power connector which in most cases will also be used for charging it.
- It is recommended to charge batteries with chargers that have automatic shut-off when charging is complete.
- The charging current should not exceed 50% of the total battery capacity.
- The nominal voltage of the battery is determined by the number of cells. For example: 7 cells = 8.4V, 8 cells = 9.6V.
- Each cell has a maximum voltage of 1.4V that should not be exceeded during charging and a minimum voltage that should not drop below 0.84V.
- It is recommended to charge NiMH batteries with the lowest possible current.
- It is recommended to maintain the charge-discharge cycles as accurately as possible.
